what you need is: a bag with a bottle of water, an umbrella (in case it rains), a map ( a MUST if you are travelling on your own), and of course your money!!
On your left is the picture taken at lourve.. and the pyramid ( any reminiscence of this place after watching do vinci code?)
price per head is about 8.50 euro. there's massive collection of sculptures and paintings (that includes monalisa painting as well.. and you;ve gotta queue to look at it!)..
its worth it.. and if u wanna thorough tour.. it takes bout 5 hours! so plan yr day b4 u head there!
here;s the highlight of the day.. eiffel tower! its a magnificent view at night isnt it.. if you go after 9 you'd b able to see it 'sparkling' on and off for bout 10 mins.. throughout the night.. its about 7.70 euro to go up halfway via elevator.. all the way up to the top of the tower will cost you bout 11 euro per person.. you can view the whole central paris up there .. n its certainly worth goin!
things to know: mrt there is called metro, and if u wanna get out of the train REMEMBER to turn the handle at the door.. or else the door WOULDNT open.. n u;d be stucked inside hah ah..if you wanna go to supermarket.. tell them u are looking for supermarche.. if not they wudnt understand you..
do some research b4 u get there coz then you;d know where is worth it to go and where its not. there are a lot of stars(indicating tourists attractions area) but u dun have to cover it all. other MUST go places include notre dame, st chapelle(largest stainglass collection), musee d' orsay (we;ve entered free ha ha.. dun ask me why i dunno.. we juz entered.. and no one asked for tix). its a good idea to learn a bit of french b4 u go there.. at least.. say bonjour when u c them and merci (thanks).. :)
